(GULLIBLE) GAL FOR THE NIGERIAN BOYFRIEND SCAM AND LOST
$70,000!
A woman from Spokane, Washington fell for the Nigerian
boyfriend scam and got suckered out of $70,000.
She had just gotten divorced and was feeling lonely. That's
when she started chatting with a guy who contacted her on MySpace. He said that
his wife had died from cancer and he was raising his son on his own.
Flattered by the interest they started an online
"relationship."
Eventually, he told her that his son had been shot during a
robbery and he needed money to pay the doctor bills to save his life.
She bought it hook, line, and sinker and started pawning
things off and sending him money.
All in all she gave him about $70,000 dollars...
Now she knows she's been duped and is telling her story
hoping others won't get sucked in.

A 50-year-old man in Freemansburg, Pennsylvania was stabbed
by his cat... sort of.
He was opening a bag of coffee with a steak knife when his
wife asked him a question. He turned to look at her and his cat ran under his
feet and tripped him.
The man fell on top of the knife and buried it an inch into
his chest.
He was taken to the hospital, treated and released.

ISSUED FOR 76-YEAR-OLD OVER 10 CENTS
An arrest warrant was issued for a 76-year-old woman in
Houston over 10 cents.
The woman wrote a $150 check for a ticket she received… the
$150 amount was written on the back of the ticket.
But the court said she actually owed $150.10, and the
10-cent discrepancy led to an automated delinquency notice which warned the
woman that she could face an arrest warrant.
The court soon noticed the problem and dismissed the
warrant.
