Webster, Florida -- Hernando County Sheriff's deputies responded to a domestic disturbance Sunday, after a woman allegedly swung a deer head with antlers at her boyfriend.
When deputies arrived at the house in Webster, several items of women's clothing were in the front yard and there was blood in the doorway to the kitchen.
Jay Gisler, 43, told deputies that the argument began when he and his girlfriend started talking about her getting a job and supporting herself.
"Jay stated that [his girlfriend] had slapped him several times and swung a deer head with antlers at him," according to the offense report.
Gisler also said that his girlfriend had swung a wooden coat rack at him.
Deputies met the girlfriend at a nearby Circle K, and she had a much different story. She said Gisler had thrown her clothes in the front yard, knocked her to the ground, kicked her and punched her in the face.
Gisler was arrested and charged with domestic battery.
The couple had been together for about five years, according to the girlfriend
