THIS WEEK'S GENIUSES.... ARRESTED FOR POINTING A LASER AT
PLANES
Four people were arrested for pointing lasers at Los Angeles
County sheriff's helicopters.
A 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy were nabbed, as were
two, 25-year-old men.
The lasers are dangerous because when they hit the
windshield, they fill the cockpit with light. It can disorient pilots or cause
temporary blindness.
Some pilots have gotten long-term visual injuries.
UFO FAN CLAIMS 'THEY KNOW I'M FILMING THEM'
An Ohio man says that he has recorded very clear images of
what he thinks is a UFO over Lake Erie.
The man claims they know he's filming them-- and they allow
him to keep shooting. He says that
every year they get closer and closer.
His recording shows several colored lights flashing.
(Others have said that every so often, they've seen strange
lights blinking on and off.)
Locals say the lake is a hotbed for extraterrestrial
activity.
Something called The Cleveland Ufology Project was founded
back in 1952 when the members said they confirmed the images were airplanes.
The man disagrees. He says that the image he has
recorded is still and not moving, which throws out any questions about whether
it is an airplane or not.
