- Celebrate the peanut industry and what it means to the people of Chowan County
- There will be a parade, food, arts and crafts vendors, a farmers market, exhibits, rides, music, entertainment and so much more.
- The parade starts at 11 a.m. and ends at John A. Holmes High School, where the festival takes place all day.
- The Battle of the Bands pits regional high school bands against each other in a friendly competition. That event is held in the high school stadium starting at 2pm
